Message from Community Manager

Dear Residents,

I am pleased to share several exciting developments taking place within the La Cima community.

Effective June 1, 2026, I am now working onsite and look forward to being more accessible and available to assist residents while supporting the continued growth and success of our community. With La Cima now home to approximately 790 occupied households, the needs of the community have continued to evolve. In response, the Developer has approved the addition of an onsite HOA Manager to better serve homeowners and provide enhanced support for daily operations and community initiatives.

As part of these changes, Maria has transitioned into a new role within Goodwin and has been promoted to Community Manager. We are grateful for the contributions she made to La Cima and wish her continued success in this well-deserved opportunity.

Additionally, Autumn, our Lifestyle Coordinator, will continue serving the community while working onsite on a part-time basis. She will partner closely with our newly appointed Social Committee, a homeowner-led group dedicated to planning community events, fostering neighbor connections, and creating opportunities that enhance the overall resident experience.

We are also pleased to announce the formation of La Cima's first homeowner Architectural Control Committee (ACC). This volunteer committee will oversee the review of Architectural Review applications submitted by homeowners. All requests for exterior home modifications should continue to be submitted through TownSq by selecting "Architectural Review." Please note that the committee may take up to 60 days to review applications, conduct voting, and issue a formal decision letter regarding the proposed project.

Summer Continues at La Cima!

As we wrap up June and head into July, La Cima is keeping the summer momentum going with opportunities to connect, explore, and enjoy the season together. From community gatherings and outdoor adventures to social clubs and local entertainment, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The remainder of June features several signature events, including the Ladies Luncheon: Sourdough Social on Friday, June 19, where residents will gather for an afternoon of conversation, community, and all things sourdough. The following day, Top Dad: MVP Edition celebrates the fathers and father figures of La Cima with a special luncheon on Saturday, June 20.

Outdoor enthusiasts can join the Trail Blazers on Saturday, June 27 for a hike through Upper Purgatory, offering a chance to enjoy the natural beauty of the area while connecting with neighbors.

As July begins, residents are encouraged to enjoy the Summer in the Park concert series at San Marcos Plaza Park. La Cima will have a community tent available for residents to utilize, making it easy to gather with friends and neighbors while enjoying live music beginning at 7:00 PM each Thursday evening.

Community clubs continue throughout the summer as well. Mom's Club will meet on June 25 and again on July 9 and July 23, providing a welcoming opportunity for parents and little ones to connect. The Men's Group continues meeting on Monday evenings, while Ladies Mah Jongg gathers weekly on Monday evenings and Thursday afternoons. Please note that the First Friday Meet-Up will not be held in July due to the Independence Day holiday.

Looking ahead, residents can also welcome new neighbors during New Homeowner Orientation on Tuesday, July 21, followed by the Ladies Mah Jongg Dinner on Thursday, July 23, featuring dinner, Mah Jongg, trivia, and an evening of fellowship for experienced players.

Please note that fitness classes will be canceled during the week of June 22 and will resume on Tuesday, July 6.

Whether you're joining a club, attending an event, hiking the trails, or simply gathering with neighbors under the La Cima tent, summer is a wonderful time to experience all that our community has to offer. We look forward to seeing you throughout the season!

Ladies Luncheon: Sourdough Social 🍞

Friday, June 19 | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Join us on for a special Ladies Luncheon featuring local baker Melaine of Get Baked.

What began as a simple desire to make homemade bread during the pandemic quickly grew into a thriving small business. Since launching Get Baked in 2023, Melaine has built a loyal following through local markets and online orders while remaining committed to giving back to the community. Through her bakery, she has helped provide school supplies, support teachers, contribute to local charities, assist animal shelters, and donate fresh bread to the Hays County Food Bank.

During our Sourdough Social, Melaine will share her journey, her passion for sourdough baking, and how a simple lifestyle change turned into an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.

We look forward to an afternoon of learning, conversation, and connection with fellow La Cima residents.

🏆 Top Dad: MVP Edition

Join us as we celebrate the dads of La Cima at Top Dad: MVP Edition, a Father's Day luncheon inspired by high-flying fun and great company. Dads and their guest will enjoy a delicious lunch, lawn games, dad-approved giveaways, and our nostalgic Flight Deck Float Station.

Lace up your hiking shoes and join the Trail Blazers for our next community adventure! This month, we'll be exploring Upper Purgatory, a local favorite known for its beautiful scenery and great trails.

Trailblazers Volunteer Opportunity

We are looking for a resident volunteer to help support and co-lead monthly Trailblazers hikes! This includes assisting with planning and helping guide group hikes as the program continues to grow. If you enjoy hiking and community connection and would be interested in getting involved, please reach out to the Lifestyle Coordinator for more details.

Summer evenings are made for live music, good company, and time spent outdoors! Residents are invited to enjoy the Summer in the Park Concert Series at San Marcos Plaza Park each Thursday evening.

Don't forget—La Cima will have a resident tent available for use at each concert. This space is simply provided as a convenient gathering spot for residents to relax and connect during the event. Feel free to stop by and make it your home base for the evening!
