Arbor Day Tree Giveaway

🌳 In honor of Arbor Day, the Plainfield Park District is giving away approximately 250 FREE tree saplings! 🌱 Choose from Bur Oak, Red Oak, and Swamp White Oak varieties.

Spring Fishing Derby

🎣🐟 Cast Your Line at the Van Horn Woods Pond Fishing Derby! 🐟🎣

Calling all young anglers! Bring your bait, bucket, and fishing pole to Van Horn Woods East on May 3 from 10–11:30 a.m. for a fun-filled Fishing Derby!

🏆 The competition is divided into three age divisions:

🎣 Ages 3-5

🎣 Ages 6-8

🎣 Ages 9-13

📢 Bonus: All participants are entered into a raffle at sign-in! (Must be present to win.)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All children must be accompanied by an adult. The event will take place rain or shine, so dress appropriately!

💰 Cost: $8 for residents | $10 for non-residents
