The Summer Reading Program is available for kids, teens and adults of all ages. Reading logs can be turned in Monday, June 10 through Saturday, August 17 .

Adult Book Groups
The library offers a variety of monthly book groups for adults.  FREE coffee, tea, and hot chocolate is provide by the Friends of the Germantown Community Library for all groups meeting at the library. Copies of all books are available to check out at the Circulation Desk with your library card. Titles and meeting dates are subject to change. Visit the  website  for additional details.

Do you enjoy books? How about a night out? Join us for our new Books on the Town Book Group . Our next meeting will be Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00 p.m. at Ally's Bistro in Menomonee Falls.
Summer Storytime
PRESCHOOL STORYTIME
Tuesdays @ 9:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
Join us for stories, movement and music geared for 3-5 year-olds followed by a craft or activity.

Family Craft Circle
Thursdays @ 4:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Feel free to drop in anytime during the event. All ages are welcome – crafts are designed for ages 5-11. All supplies provided.
Online Resource Feature
This month's featured resource is Gale Courses. Gale Courses   provides access to over 360 online courses on multiple topics of interest, including career training programs. If you seek deeper knowledge of areas from A (Accounting) to W (Writing), Gale Courses has something for you.

Now Offering Tech Support Consultations
Want to learn how to download ebooks on your tablet? Want to be able to email those pictures on your phone? How about search for your relatives on Ancestry?

The library will be hosting technical support consultations from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Please register by stopping by the Reference Desk calling the library at (262) 253-7760 or emailing William at [email protected] . Make sure to include the topic of your question so we can be prepared with instructions. Can’t make the scheduled times? Let us know and we can work to find a time that meets your scheduling needs.

Orbit the Alien has been busy this summer!! Check him out at the Youth Services Desk for up to one week and take him on your summer adventures. Use the hash tag #orbitgownlibrarywi and upload your pictures to social media!
Cosmo, the library's resident Astronaut, has been spotted in Germantown at Swing Time and White House of Music. Watch our Facebook page to find out when he will land next. Come visit him and receive a prize!
The libraries in Germantown, Hartford, Kewaskum, Slinger & West Bend are excited to announce that we will be at the Washington County Fair this year!
The library will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. Make sure to say hi to us at the Germantown 4th of July Parade and stop by the 4th of July Festival at Fireman's Park in Germantown from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. for
giant games, bouncy houses, crafts & more!
