The Summer Reading Program is available for kids, teens and adults of all ages. Reading logs can be turned in Monday, June 10 through Saturday, August 17.
Waive your overdue library fines just in time for Summer Reading! The library is doing a Food for Fines drive from Tuesday, May 28 - Saturday, June 14. We will waive $1 of overdue library fines for every nonperishable item that is donated. Fines only include overdue items and not replacement costs. Items must not be expired, opened or damaged and will be donated to the St. Boniface/St. Gabriel’s Food Pantry in Germantown.

Adult Book Groups
The library offers a variety of monthly book groups for adults.  FREE coffee, tea, and hot chocolate is provide by the Friends of the Germantown Community Library for all groups meeting at the library. Copies of all books are available to check out at the Circulation Desk with your library card. Titles and meeting dates are subject to change. Visit the  website  for additional details.

Do you enjoy books? How about a night out? Join us for our new Books on the Town Book Group . Our next meeting will be Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00 p.m. at Ally's Bistro in Menomonee Falls.

PRESCHOOL STORYTIME

Join us for stories, movement and music geared for 3-5 year-olds followed by a craft or activity.

Feel free to drop in anytime during the event. All ages are welcome – crafts are designed for ages 5-11. All supplies provided.
Memory Caf é

We had a wonderful time at our Memory Café in Germantown in May making Fairy Tea Cup Gardens. Check out our photo gallery to see what the Library Memory Project has been up to this year!

Online Resource Feature
This month's featured resource is Ancestry. Ancestry  provides more than 1.5 billion names in over 4,000 databases, Ancestry Library Edition includes records from the United States Census; military records; court, land and probate records; vital and church records; directories; and passenger lists. Ancestry is only available for In Library Use.

Now Offering Tech Support Consultations
Want to learn how to download ebooks on your tablet? Want to be able to email those pictures on your phone? How about search for your relatives on Ancestry?

The library will be hosting technical support consultations from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Please register by stopping by the Reference Desk calling the library at (262) 253-7760 or emailing William at [email protected] . Make sure to include the topic of your question so we can be prepared with instructions. Can’t make the scheduled times? Let us know and we can work to find a time that meets your scheduling needs.
