Together We Build: Mary’s Home Dedication Celebration
Recently, we celebrated a huge milestone with the dedication of our 181st home for Mary!
Mary, a dedicated volunteer at our front desk, received the keys to her new home with great joy. This achievement was made possible by the hard work of our volunteers and the support from our Alachua Habitat ReStore, which raises enough proceeds to help us build two homes each year.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion. Together, we're building a stronger community, one home at a time.

Check out this amazing video of Pepine Realty’s team in action! Recently, they dedicated their time and effort to our build sites, making incredible progress on two homes.
They built the shed for Mary’s home, sanded her stairs, painted the entire porch of Michelle’s home, and assembled cabinets.
Pepine Realty, through its philanthropic arm Pepine Gives, is committed to building affordable homes in Alachua County. Michelle’s home is the second house they have sponsored, and their dedication is truly making a difference.

Alachua Women Build Update | |

Alachua Women Build, a chapter of Alachua Habitat for Humanity, has completed their 17th Home for Pauline! Despite facing a delay in their schedule, this volunteer-based group has completed the construction in a record time of six months.
This achievement was made possible through the generous contribution from Dr. Kim Kazimour, the Women's Giving Circle of the Community Foundation of North Central Florida, the Gainesville Garden Club, Ridgway Roof Truss Company, the City of Gainesville, and countless individual Women Build supporters.

relocated to Alachua County after the birth of her first child and dedicated 20 years of service to Tacachale Center. Pauline is thrilled to finally become a homeowner, and is especially excited to put her new kitchen to use.
