Though summer is still going strong, our Summer Reading program is coming to an end on August 6.  Stop in before that day to collect your prizes or raffle tickets!  But don't worry - the fun isn't over at the Nazareth Library.

Kids can look forward to more Art with Gina this coming week, as well as a super fun Bedtime Musical Storytime (PJs welcome!).  Adults can participate in one (or both) of the book groups held at the library this month.  And EVERYONE can look forward to the arrival of fall, because TOUCH A TRUCK is back on October 1 at Tuskes Community Park!  Plan to spend a few hours climbing on trucks, watching some awesome digger demos, and supporting the library at the same time!  Tickets will go on sale in August.

Enjoy the rest of summer!

TOUCH A TRUCK .. October 1

Remember the awe you once held for larger-than- life machines going about their seemingly-impossible tasks? A fire  truck racing down a street; thinking how fun a dump truck would be to operate; wondering just how many Legos you
could fit in a limo or if you would ever get to sit in the bucket of a tractor?

Please join the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity, in cooperation with the Upper Nazareth Township Parks and Recreation, for our Touch a Truck fundraiser on Saturday, October 1, 2016, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (rain or shine).

Our event is a great opportunity for your business or organization to be a part of an event that brings out that curious child inside all of us. Everyone will be ready to Touch a Truck! Will you be there ready to greet them? You don't want to miss this fun and educational opportunity to reach families throughout the Lehigh Valley.

The funds raised through this event will be dedicated to funding several Library building improvements. Specifically, the Library is experiencing unexpected leakage issues in the basement; as well as, minor roofing and spouting problems.
Tickets to attend Touch a Truck will be on sale in August at the Library Circulation Desk. For more information as to how you and your company can be represented at this event or how to acquire tickets for the event, please call Holly Bennett at 610-759-4932 ext. 7 or email [email protected].
