Summer Reading Game & Events
Libraries Rock!
It's been a busy summer and we're still going strong!

KCPL's summer reading game is a work-at-your-own-pace program that runs through the end of August, so keep on reading! Use the online gameboard or pick up a paper version at any KCPL location. Complete activities to earn points that can be traded for prizes at the Summer Reading Store.  The last day for turning in points for prizes is Friday, August 31st.

KCPL's 2018 summer reading program is sponsored in large part by a grant from the PNC Foundation, which is continually supportive of children's programming in the community.

North County Branch Volunteer Opportunity
KCPL is seeking volunteers for the North County Branch in Galena.

The perfect person for this opportunity will be:
  • Able to commit to volunteering 12-2pm on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
  • Comfortable using a computer and willing to learn to use library software
  • Comfortable interacting with the general public
