Summer reading is back! Our program this year is for all ages: kids (birth - grade 5), teens (grades 6-12) and adults.

There's a lot going on this year but don't get overwhelmed, we just wanted to provide something for everyone.

Take & Make Kits and Activity Packets
Starting June 21, each week the Library will have a variety of take and make kits (crafts, felt kits, owl pellets, and more) and activity packets (animal mini books, coloring sheets, and more).

We will divide the number of available kits each week so we have some available each day. Limit one kit per person. Please only take kits for your household. (But remind your friends to come get theirs!)

To see what kits are available each week check out our photo album.

We will be closed at least for the month of July to move, but Take & Make Kits and Activity Packets will still be available. Check our event calendar for the latest pick up locations and times.
Virtual Programs
We will be offering a number of live, virtual programs throughout the summer including:
  • Mini LEGO Builds (advance sign up is June 1-17)
  • Book clubs for kids, teens, adults
  • Cartoonist Joel Christian Gill
  • Fox Canvas Painting for Tweens
  • Felted Hedgehog for Teens
  • Coral Reef Painting for Adults
  • Comic Book Workshop with Matt Ryan

Page Turner Adventures
We've teamed up with Page Turner to bring you fun videos this summer. Each week, kids will join Page Turner and Kenny (plus a cast of kids) as they jump into the Once Upon a Time Machine in search of stories and adventure.

Each week includes:
  • Show Day: We present an original, interactive show that's sure to engage kids.
  • Craft Day: Simple, fun crafts that inspire creativity.
  • Author/Illustrator Day: Short interviews with some of the best creators working in kidlit.
  • Mashup Day: Recipes, games, bonus crafts, and other fun stuff that didn't fit in the other days.
  • Special Guest/Field Trip Day: We virtually visit some amazing places and people including mini-show from other fantastic performers.

Access to videos will be available through: Beanstack, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Library's SRP page, and event calendar.
