Wrapping Up Life in Florida
We celebrated 8 years of having Isaiah on July 1st, he requested a cookie pie for his Gotcha Day, so of course we had to make that happen.

We had a busy couple of weeks in Florida leading up to our move to Alabama. Malachi went to two weeks of day camp and Isaiah joined him for the second week. That same week, the girls went to camp with their youth group. Laura was able to use the time the kids were gone that last week to continue to pack up the house, line up things for the new house in Alabama, and spend time with friends before moving.

It was great that the kids were able to go to camp while still in Florida. Moving, then being sick, put a little of a damper on a normal fun summer.

Laura and the kids celebrated 4th of July by getting shaved ice in the afternoon (it was so hot that day!) and soaking up one of our last days with friends.

Mission Trips
At the end of June, Nate late led two mission trips: one in Providence, Rhode Island and the other in Tucson, Arizona! The one in Tucson really sticks out, as a youth group relentlessly shared the Gospel with everyone they met and literally encouraged two churches! His assistant trip leaders for that week were our good friend Taylor and Gary, a new PPM hire from Florida, so that made it an even better week.
The Move to Alabama
Saying goodbye is never easy. We have had incredible neighbors and friends in Florida and miss them already!

Moments after Nate returned from his Tucson trip, we were loading up the 26 foot U-Haul truck and driving late into the night before stopping. The next day we finished the 10 hour drive to our new home in Daphne, Alabama.
Alabama Life
The night we arrived at our new home in Daphne, Alabama, Laura tested positive for Covid, then everyone but Malachi and Isaiah tested positive a couple of days later. This obviously slowed down the process of moving in, painting the house, and settling in, but we have all recovered well and are beginning to fall into a routine here.

We are still shocked at the miracles God performed to get us to Alabama. His plan is definitely greater than our plan! Life has slowed down, but is progressing to normal as the boys are beginning football and soon the girls will be starting soccer. In less than two weeks school will begin and a real routine will be set!

Our biggest prayer request right now is to find a church that the entire family can both grow and serve in and through. Due to being sick our first couple of weeks here, we have only visited one church so far, but look forward to visiting the other ones in our area. Please pray that God will clearly lead us to the church He wants us in!
