Camp Week 6 Starts Monday August 21st!

Hello Campers and Parents!

You are receiving this email because we have you/your child on our registration list for Week 6 Summer Riding Camp. If you did not register for Week 6 or think that you have been added to this mailing list by mistake please let us know and we will make the correction. 

Payment

We do not have the ability to go back and charge your credit card (third party online access only), so although you may have paid the deposit by credit card, we ask that you please bring a cheque on Monday morning or e-transfer the remainder of your camp fees to linda@oldorchardfarm.ca. If you are sending an e-transfer please indicate which child/children you are paying for and for which week(s) in the notes section. 

Drop Off and Pickup

Drop off time for Camp is between 8:30 - 8:45 AM. Pick up time is 4:00 PM.

On Monday (OOF Show Day) drop off will be on the lawn in front of the house. The rest of the week please drop off/check in each morning on the lawn by the upper barn (you will see picnic tables and a white tent).

Please print and bring a completed waiver (link below) to check in on Monday morning. Please add all parent/guardian daytime contact info to the bottom of the waiver for quick use in case of an emergency.

What to Bring to Camp

Please send your camper with a bathing suit and towel along with their lunch, plenty of water (2 or more bottles), sunscreen, a hat, long pants and helmet/riding boots/grooming kit etc if you have them. This year we also strongly recommend sending campers with rubber boots as footwear will need to be sanitized when travelling between barns and paddocks (see biosecurity notice below) and rubber boots are the best for this.

The weather forecast for the next few days is a combination of HOT and RAINY so please pack accordingly.

*PRO TIP*

Make sure all belongings are clearly labelled with campers name before they come to camp!

Friday Family Showcase

Every Friday features our family showcase. The showcase gives campers a chance to dress up their ponies and to show their family what they have learned during their week at camp. Another email will go out with a final schedule for Friday.
