Summer Send-Off
Tuesday, June 9th
10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Provident will be holding a Summer Send-Off for students and families on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 10AM-2PM. In order to maintain social distancing, we will have a parade of vehicles. All students and families will be able to remain in their cars. Teachers and staff will be positioned outside of the school to wish the students a safe and happy summer, and to celebrate their hard work during remote learning. In addition, parents and students will be able to pick up any items that were in student lockers or left in classrooms at this time, but families will not be allowed to enter the building. If you know of an item your child has left at the school that you would like to pick up, please email your child's teacher, so we can have it ready for you.
Medication Pick-Up
Families may also pick up student medication during the Summer Send-Off. Please contact Julia Mueller at or 412-709-5160, ext. 106 so that the medication can be packed and ready for pick up.
About IPads and Chromebooks
Ms Bilitski, Director of Instructional Technology
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your perseverance and dedication in the transition to all-online learning. Working together, we were able to keep our learning on track and look to finish out the school year strong!

Some of you may have questions about what to do with the technology devices you have at home during the summer.

  • In order to maintain social distancing, students will keep their current devices for now.
  • Please expect a reduced level of support-- we ask that you only contact us for issues with broken or missing devices and accessories OR issues with charging.
  • If you are participating in summer learning, support levels and procedures will remain the same.
  • If you are withdrawing from Provident for the 20-21 school year, please plan to return your device on Tuesday, June 9th.
  • We ask that you continue to take good care of these items.
  • Expect a mid-summer update with more information about how we plan to transition to the Fall.

I’m very proud of how hard you all have been working to make learning from home a success. Keep up the good work and enjoy your summer!
