Deep Sea Divers
Are you curious about how fish breathe, what whales do to stay warm or which animals are found in the arctic? Transform into “deep sea divers” and explore the wide variety of animals that are found in the ocean. Find out more about the different layers of the sea, why certain animals reside in each layer and how their environments affect them. Engage in fun salt water experiments, float or sink projects and more.

Fly me to the Moon
Let's fly to the moon! Experience the wonders of the universe as you become an astronomer for the week. Through a hands-on approach, gain a better understanding of the solar system and beyond while working on projects that focus on topics such as moon phases, constellations, telescopes, and rockets.

Gardening Magic
Get creative with dirt, rocks, paints, plants, beads and bugs. Learn about life in and around a garden while doing projects that combine art and science. We will “BEE VERY BUSY” creating take-home pizza container gardens, decorating garden stones, finding out what it’s really like to live life as a bee, designing colorful wind chimes and making sun catchers. Create plant people and a hairy caterpillar while enjoying delicious garden treats. Get ready to learn about nature’s unique plants and awesome animals.

Zoom into Fitness
A fun,
energy-filled class that will help develop physical and mindful habits to carry with you throughout your busy day. Utilize yoga, breathing exercises and Zumba dance skills to connect with your inner strength, foster bonds with classmates and create an overall feeling of emotional well-being, self-confidence and sharp focus. Learn the history and meaning behind Yoga and Zumba practices and gain insight into the benefits to be gained from these fun exercises. If you’re in the mood to move and dance, grab your sneakers and join in on the fun!

Drawing Cartoons into Reality
In commemoration of the 90
th
anniversary of Mickey Mouse, this step-by-step workshop teaches how to draw all of your favorite Disney characters! Learn to reduce characters to basic geometric shapes with guidelines to help keep artwork in proportion. Challenges will include completing compositions by adding a foreground, middle ground, and a background. Personalize creations by adding name designs. Completed pencil drawings will be inked in with black marker, ready to be taken home for coloring.

Comic Book Creations
Does your child love to draw or write short stories? Dive into the popular world of comics with this writing workshop course which will encourage your child to expand their imagination and use their creativity to make their very own graphic novel. Over the course of five days, students will practice their writing skills as they delve into character development, plot and dialog to develop their own comic book masterpiece!

Create a Cafe
Do you like to dine out? If the answer is yes, imagine if you had the exciting opportunity to run your very own restaurant! In Create a Cafe, kids get to design their own menus, create recipes and ultimately serve up their delicious dishes to diners.
Imagination and collaboration are the key "ingredients" that students will need to use while creating their own restaurant.

Escape Room 2019
Take a role in helping your team escape while going back to basics and learning to survive without electronics! Students will accomplish each task at hand by relying on each other, rather than on Siri, Alexa or Echo. Use exercise, indoor and outdoor games and team building tasks to work towards ‘escaping the room’. Gain knowledge about the human body and how to stay physically fit.

Superhero Secrets
Everyone loves superheroes, but do you know the scientific principles behind all of your superhero favorites? Make Superman’s Kryptonite Crystals, design an awesome rubber band powered car for Batman, create webs just like Spiderman and much more! Each day, explore a different superhero and the science behind their extraordinary powers.

Get your passports ready as we prepare to stamp our way through the world. Learn about different cultures through crafts that focus on flags, foods, holidays and more. Our travels will take us through China, Ireland, Italy, Mexico and our own home, the USA. So pack your bags and get ready to tour the world in five days!

Let Your Literacy Grow

Take to the open waters where we will read about ocean animals and work on sea based activities. We will set sail across the oceans as we develop comprehension skills such as making predictions, making connections, vocabulary development, inferencing, asking questions, summarizing and determining cause and effect. Great sailors read with confidence!

Week 1 ONLY
Ready, set, spike! Every class will include instruction, games, drills and exciting activities to help players of all experience levels develop their skills and passion for volleyball in a safe and supportive environment. Independent drills accompanied with team-work focused activities will allow campers to hone their talents, all while having fun with the sport. All equipment is provided.

Join us as we take an audience to a whole new world and tell the story of
Aladdin

As students prepare for performance day, they will learn about what goes into putting on a musical hit, with a focus on everything from the audition process, to rehearsals and choreography, to scenery painting. A great opportunity to work together as a team, whether you’re performing for the first time or have already had experience with acting, singing and dancing on the stage. Make new friends before the first day of school, work on literature-based art projects, participate in musical activities and focus on honing fine motor and gross motor skills. will dive into a fun-filled program of underwater exploration
. During the second part of class, prepare to jump, hop and fly… Into the Wonderful World of Bugs! Each day, explore water-themed children’s books and nature-themed books with a focus on the author Eric Carle.
