Grounded and Light like the Sun
To enhance our practice, we develop the skills to play with opposites. Like the Sun that keeps the planets in its orbit we find the stabilizing point of the yoga posture, our own grounding energy; and like the Sun, which creates light for our planet, we expand our energy by smiling, breathing and lengthening.
This experience reminds us that we have the permission to be grounded and light, strong and flexible and calm and energized.

We begin with the breath, always, the very basis of our yoga practice. We will then focus on strengthening the respiratory system and the deep core muscles. The legs and lower back will feel so wonderfully stretched and strengthened. To finish this practice there will be chanting and meditation.

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga helps to build strength, improve circulation, regulate breathing, opens energy channels and harmonizes the relationship and functioning of body, mind and breath.
As mothers stretch, they learn to relax naturally, and begin to trust the innate wisdom within – making it easier to surrender into places that feel tight, out of balance or even foreign.
For the mother-to-be, this surrender will prove invaluable from delivery day forward.
Dates: Mondays, July 4th to July 25th, 4 week series

How Sound Heals
with Glenda Rodriguez

Experience and experiment with techniques to play the crystal bowls to affect change and facilitate your own home practice.
This 75 minute workshop includes:
- A presentation and discussion of the theories and applications of using sound as a healing modality including: sound wave theory, resonant frequency healing, sympathetic resonance...and more;
- A 30 minute crystal singing bowl group relaxation session; and
- A hands-on opportunity to learn how to play and connect with a crystal bowl through a guided exercise.

Yoga and Mindfulness for Teens

Over the course of this 4 week program, teens will learn a variety of yoga postures, breathing exercises, relaxation and mindfulness techniques to enhance their physical and mental well-being.
Some of the benefits of yoga for teens include:
- Improves flexibility
- Builds muscle strength
- Improves posture
- Soothes the nervous system
- Enhances focus
- Improves concentration
No experience required.
Recommended for teens between the ages of 12 to 16.

Enlightened Self Meditation Course

• Varied sitting positions;
• How to use the knowledge of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras to support practice;
• The physiological and mental effects of meditation;
• A step-by-step recipe to prepare for meditation;
• How to teach others short meditations; and
• The skills to incorporate meditations in your yoga classes.

Yin level II

Building on the principles established in the Yin Level I foundation training, this training is a deep dive into the subtle energy anatomy, combining Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda. Together we will learn to properly layer the meditation, subtle energy practice, pranayama, mantra, and the physical practice, weaving the tapestry that facilitates transformation in our own lives, and the lives of others.
