Mock Interviewers Needed for TASC Summer Youthworks Program

Taunton Area School to Career (TASC), a program of Associates for Human Services, Inc., are seeking volunteer support to help with mock interviews for the TASC Summer Youthworks Program. This event will be held on Friday, August 19th from 9:45AM-11:00AM at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center, 700 Myles Standish Blvd, Taunton, MA 02780.

TASC runs Taunton Youthworks, a summer teen jobs and work training program, and currently have 22 students in the program this summer. The youth participants aim to work around 100 hours over 6 weeks at a local worksite (we have 9 worksites) and take part in 15 hours of work readiness training. They will close out the program on August 19th with a final training, mock interviews, the closing/achievement ceremony, and lunch at 11:00am. The final piece of training will be the mock interviews. This is where they need your help! The activity will consist of having a professional from the community interviewing about two individual students and then giving feedback. They hope to obtain about 10-15 volunteers.

If you yourself, or representatives from your business/organization, can volunteer, please email Kendreia Perry by Friday, 8/12/22. If you have any other questions, comments or concerns please do not hesitate to ask. TASC will send out an agenda, and the questions volunteers will be asking the youth, on Monday, 8/15.
