Healing Mass
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament family and friends on Tuesday, October 6th at 7pm at Queen of the Rosary Church (750 W. Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village, IL). for Healing of the Family Tree & General Physical Healing. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with the Eucharist is the most powerful means of healing intergenerational iniquity and transgression referred to in scripture.

QUEEN OF THE ROSARY SCHOOL REPORT
The Spanish program is off to a great start for students in grades 5-8! At the beginning of the school year, students start off by learning about "saludos" (greetings) in their online textbook called Voces Digital. It is by learning these greetings that they are able to have full conversations in Spanish. Conversation presentations are always fun and often include fun skits and props, as can be seen by 5th grade's pizza!

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION ROUND UP
Last Sunday, Sept. 18, the Church celebrated Catechetical Sunday. OLBS catechists received a special blessing and were commissioned for their ministry at all Masses. We are most grateful to our volunteer catechists and aides for giving their time, treasure, and talent to help the children of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
These catechists and aides have volunteered to serve the children of OLBS for the 2022-23 school year: Ray Bauer, Cynthia Dombrowski, Ellen Forster, Jennifer Hamelly, Don Kauffold, Nicole Kitzinger, Elizabeth Luong, Ron Mattey, Mirella Mazzone, Jill Meister, Peter Meister, Gladys Moscoso, Chris Nagle, Chris Schiffer, Dan Storto, Tom Uhlarik, Mimosa Unno, Karen Vance, Joanna Weiss, Joe Wozniak, and Larry Zabinski.

YOUTH MINISTRY CORNER
Fall into Youth Ministry this October. Grab a friend, or two, and join an upcoming event. Visit Alexian Village this Monday or October 10th or 24th and save the date for our Annual Rake 'n Run on October 29th. Our next Youth Ministry meeting is set for October 16th.
