Every journey begins with a moment of hope, and for Jack, that moment arrived long before his first steps.

At just 25 weeks gestation, Jack underwent fetal surgery to repair a Spina Bifida lesion on his spine. His first month in the NICU was filled with surgeries, challenges, and moments of unimaginable uncertainty. But Jack’s story is one of strength, perseverance, and light.

Now five years old and filled with joy, Jack is thriving through Parc’s Family Focus program. When Ms. Kris, his Early Intervention Teacher, first met Jack in January 2024, he was three years and seven months old, bright-eyed, determined, and ready to take on every challenge with a smile.

Over the past months, Jack’s progress has been nothing short of inspiring. From expanding his vocabulary and crafting full sentences to mastering balance and identifying objects in creative ways, he continues to surpass expectations.

Phase 1 of our newly renovated Adult Community Center officially opened and the energy was electric! Our Adult Day Training participants were among the first to explore the vibrant new space, joined by the incredible staff who make every day meaningful.

Your generosity helped build more than walls, you helped build community, creativity, and connection. This renovated center will be a vibrant hub for our Adult Day Training programs, opening the door to more learning, meaningful events, and everyday moments Where Capabilities Shine.
