Schedules will be completed the week of August 19th and will be posted in OnCampus. All schedule changes must be emailed to the Registrar, Ms. Martha Bainbridge at: [email protected]. School Uniforms
Reminder: All students are expected to be in uniform on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
Please be reminded that Lands’ End is the sole provider of school uniform bottoms, shirts, and sweaters. All of these uniform pieces must be purchased through Lands’ End. For a point of clarification when purchasing skorts, please be diligent in only purchasing top-of-knee skorts. The other skort, above the knee, shouldn't be listed on the Concordia Lands End website but please double-check before finalizing.

New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation on Monday, August 22, 2022
Attention NEW families and all rising 9th graders – New Student Orientation will be held on Monday, August 22 with two sessions: one in the morning for students only and another in the evening for students and their families. Both programs will be filled with a variety of information and updates to assist with the kick-off of the 2022-2023 school year. Physicals
Physicals are due for all athletes by 8/7. They can be emailed or handed in in person. No athlete will be allowed to begin participating in a sport without a physical on file. Physicals can be conducted at clinics such as CVS, Patient First, Care First, University of Maryland, etc. Please provide the doctor with the attached form.
Our Athletic Trainer partner Towson Sports Medicine, has one more date to get physicals completed on August 8th. The August 8th physical date will be accepted for all athletes who do not participate in Football. Please use the following links to sign up. TSM August 8th Physical Sign Up
Upper School Fall Sports Registration

Upper School Fall Game Schedules
The game schedules for fall upper school sports are available. They will be posted on the school website (www.concordiaprepschool.org) OnCampus and social media. Please remember that all game schedules are subject to change. Communication will be sent out if there are any changes.
Summer Work Drop Ins
Concordia Prep has organized some drop in sessions for students to get assistance or work collaboratively on their summer work. The last morning session is Tuesday, August 16 at 8:30 am. Contact Ms. Newman at [email protected] with questions.

CPS Summer Work for New and Returning Students
To help maintain your skills and to help prepare you for the academic challenges of the 2022-2023 school year, some classes require coursework to take place over the summer months. The summer work is also posted on OnCampus, under Resources.
New Middle School Families
Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students should begin the summer reading that is posted on the Middle School Summer Work page (Middle School Summer Work).
Attention New Upper School Families
All NEW Upper School families should set up a meeting with our Director of Guidance and College Counselor, Mrs. Kim Grill to discuss courses and schedules for the 2022-2023 school year. Please schedule an appointment via email at [email protected].
Reminder: All students must complete the summer work for their grade level by the start of school. It is important to meet with Mrs. Grill to learn what courses they will be in for the fall semester.

2021-2022 Yearbooks
If you purchased a yearbook for the 2021-2022 school year, they will be available in Fall of 2022. Students will be informed when they are available to be picked up in the main office.

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Student Policy Reminder
Our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy will continue for all students next school year. Each student must bring a personal device, which is fully charged, to school on a daily basis. Students may use personal devices with teacher permission and for educational purposes only during the school day. Students will be required to register new devices with the technology department prior to the start of the school year.
We recommend the student carry the device in a protective case, sleeve, or laptop bag. The school’s Technology Department is not authorized to repair a student’s personal computer.
The CPS technology department recommends the following devices:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 laptop
- Apple MacBook
- Microsoft Surface
- Google Chromebook

From the School Nurse
Remember it is best to get your child's physical completed over the summer so that they can be cleared to participate in sports for all three sports seasons. The physical is valid for one year from the date that your child was examined by their healthcare provider.
Be sure to have the healthcare provider also complete medication forms for prescription medication:
