Join us in congratulating Joshua Louiselle on his graduation from the Greater House of Hope recovery program. Joshua’s graduation celebration was held at Spider Lake Church on July 30, 2023. He is working in construction and preparing to move into his own housing very soon.

At our last board meeting we had the opportunity to meet and get updates from two House of Hope program graduates who are now in leadership roles -- Mike Murphy, house lead and Mike Lemmons, workshop lead. Both are seeking the Lord in their walk as sober men and filling their days with positive influences and practices. We are so proud of these men! | |

Workshop Open House
A ‘reveal celebration’ at the House of Hope’s new trade skills workshop is in the works. Mark your calendar for the workshop open house in October. The date and time will be announced soon. There will be food, fellowship, a blessing over the workshop and recognition of all who donated labor and materials.

Financially Speaking......
The House of Hope is solely funded by personal, businesses, civic groups, and area Churches. We thank each and every one who has given in the past and who gives on a regular basis. With this said, we continue to pray for funds to cover operating expenses and specific needs.

Need furniture & volunteers
A furniture sale is coming soon, all proceeds will benefit the House of Hope, so mark your calendars for early September. At this time, we are requesting usable/nice furniture donations - meaning anything that’s too nice to throw away and that’s in good working order. For more information about drop off and/or volunteering, please contact Gary at 715-699-4040 - texting a photo is encouraged.

Need Jeep repairs...
Someone has graciously donated a Jeep that will be used to transport men to support meetings and appointments, get building materials needed for workshop projects and grocery runs. Repairs estimated at $4,000 are needed to get the Jeep in good working order.
Donations needed and can be made payable and mailed to: GHHOH, PO Box 372, Hayward, WI, 54843. Please note ‘for Jeep repairs’ on your check.

Need to sell…
A beautiful, solid hickory desk was given to us by a generous donor! 100% of the proceeds will go to the House of Hope’s operating fund.
Here are the details:
- solid hickory with glass top; excellent condition
- top is 40” deep by 64.5” wide
- three file drawers
- two pull out boards on each side of center drawer
- back side has 10” overhang
- top is removable for moving purposes
- locally made by craftsman, Lester Troyer

Come have some fun at Family Night at the Fair on August 17, from 5-7pm. Free entrance, fun activities, visit the House of Hope table to learn more about the program and workshop products in development.
House of Hope Director, Mike Thompson would love to speak at area churches to encourage congregations and explain what the men’s recovery program is about and who it’s for.
