Midland Earth Day Expo

H. H. Dow High School, Midland, MI

5Heart Earthworm Farm took part in celebrating Earth Day with Midland Recyclers and a variety of local organizations. Those who stopped by our booth received a free sample of our Premium Worm Castings and learned about the benefits of using them in their garden. They were even able to see some of our live worms up close!

April 30th

Vermiculture & Composting Workshop

Veterans Memorial Park, Bay City, MI

Joined by an enthusiastic group during International Compost Awareness Week, Sarah Archer (owner of 5Heart Earthworm Farm) and Amy Freeman (Organics and Composting Maven) hosted a Composting and Worm Bin workshop in Bay City!

Attendees learned how to reduce their food waste through backyard composting and using their very own worm bin!

MRC Conference

Kellogg Center, Lansing, MI

2022 marks the first year that the farm has had its own booth at the annual MRC Recycling and Organics Conference. We're happy to have had the opportunity to explain the benefits of adding our Premium Worm Castings to visitors' gardening routines, as well as make some great business connections along the way!

Pilot Food Scrap Collection

Bay City and Saginaw, MI

We've partnered with Iris Waste Diversion Specialists to take in the food scraps they collect from their pilot Food Scrap Collection program. By doing so, this returns what came from the earth back to the earth. If you live in the Bay City or Saginaw area, you can subscribe here!
