Dear Friends,
Ryther is continuing to grow, and we’re excited to share that our Sage Mood & Resiliency Partial Hospitalization Program is now open and welcoming participants. This new offering marks an important expansion of our services, providing structured, therapeutic support for children and youth managing mood disorders. The program is also designed to support individuals with neurodiverse presentations, ensuring inclusive and comprehensive care.
We’re also making steady progress toward reopening our therapeutic residential treatment program in the Cottages. This is an ambitious program aimed to serve kids with very high mental health acuity. As we complete the final steps in the policy approval process, we are aiming for an early 2026 opening date. We will continue to communicate with you, as our crucial stakeholders, as we work to create this vital resource for kids and teens in Washington.
Meanwhile, our Outpatient Day Summer Camp Programs for children and youth receiving therapy at Ryther, along with our Aspiring Youth Summer Camps for neurodivergent participants, are in full swing! The campus is alive with energy and activity, as young people engage in enriching, fun, and supportive experiences throughout the summer. It’s a joyful time to be on campus—watching children and youth build positive relationships, discover new skills, and thrive in a welcoming community.
As the needs of children and families continue to grow, programs like Sage reflect Ryther’s commitment to evolving with purpose. We’re focused on closing service gaps, expanding access, and building care that is not only effective but also compassionate and developmentally attuned.
You can help by spreading the word. If you know families, schools, providers, or community partners who may benefit from or refer to this kind of care, please share Sage with them. Together, we can ensure that more children receive the early, specialized care they need to heal and thrive.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’re a donor, partner, family member, or advocate, your support helps Ryther grow, adapt, and continue building a community where every young person can heal and thrive.
