SPRING/SUMMER PROGRAM FINISH
Congrats to all the participants in our annual All Star Saturday events! We hope everyone enjoyed this long standing WYBSL tradition and are especially thankful for the staff and coaches who helped prep the fields after the heavy rains.

Congrats to our 2021 raffle ticket winners! A letter has been sent to each of you with your prizes:
  1. First Place ($500) - Beth H.
  2. Second Place ($250) - Beth M.
  3. Third Place ($100) - Paul H.
  4. Fourth Place ($50) - Tara F.

We are now fast approaching the completion of our spring/summer season which culminates with the excitement of post-season tournaments! Good luck to all our players and we hope you had a great spring/summer season.
FALL BALL REGISTRATION
Regular Registration Deadline is July 19
The WYBSL Fall Ball Committee has already begun work on our upcoming season. You can find complete registration information in our Fall Ball Registration Newsletter and then register online at our website.

Registration will only be done online this Fall - and don't forget to register by July 19th to guarantee your spot and avoid late fees!

FALL BALL VIRTUAL "OPEN HOUSE"
July 17th, 10AM - 11AM
As a result of COVID, we will not be able to offer any "walk-in" registration sessions but will hold an online, virtual "open house" on Saturday, July 17th.

"Drop by" to meet the Staff and ask any questions you may have about the program!

COACHES CORNER
Please join us in thanking all of our coaches who generously volunteered their time this season. We certainly could not have successfully operated our program without them!

EQUIPMENT RETURN DATES:

Equipment is a large expense for the WYBSL. Please "dust off" your equipment and return it so that we may conduct inventory and prepare for the fall program. Return equipment to the "shed" (behind 288 E. Broadway) on:
  • July 19; 5p - 9p or
  • July 24; 10a - 1p

HELP NEEDED!!
It takes a small army of dedicated volunteers to run our league and we need your help to continue the long and proud tradition we have established. Please consider volunteering for one of many positions we need in Fall Ball including:

  • Field Patrol - on weekend mornings we need individuals to check fields at Huber, Highlands, Towers and Hoff Woods Parks when conditions may be questionable. If you live by one of these parks, it's easy and convenient! Please email Brian Seiter, Fields Director to volunteer!

We also have paid, "contractor" positions available as:

  • Umpires - for Green Hat and Red Hat softball & baseball. You must be 15 y/o and paid training is provided. Contact Mike Bussard, Umpire Director to learn more.
  • Concession Captains - help organize and operate a concession stand at Huber Village or Towers Park. Contact Stephen Naumann, Concessions Director for more informationn.
