Summer at Genoa Bay Cafe We're proud to announce that we have officially re-opened for the summer season! While times have been challenging for all of us, we're thoroughly looking forward to a fantastic summer ahead of us. It feels like it has been an eternity since we've seen so many of you and we sincerely can't wait to catch up!

THURSDAY - MONDAY OPEN FOR LUNCH & DINNER 11:30AM - 8PM (CLOSED TUES/WEDS) ••• Please be sure to reserve if you'd like to secure your seating. We have been operating at a high volume since opening with socially distanced tables.

Keeping Everyone Safe

COVID GUIDLINES & PROTOCOLS We're absolutely thrilled to be able to serve our guests again. During the downtime we truly missed having the daily interactions with our visitors. While we're trying to go back to normal as much as possible, we must follow the BC guidelines for restaurants. See below for a quick list of things we're doing to follow the safety protocols in order to keep everyone safe.

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS AT GENOA BAY CAFE

• Tables have been socially distanced to the recommended spacing • Increased cleaning & sanitization of our facilities. Cleaning frequency is highly monitored. • The cafe & marina have added hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the cafe and property. • The marina store has decided to stay open to serve the public but the docks where residents live are respectfully closed to the public at this time. • We ask our diners not to socialize with neighbouring tables and to maintain their distance from other patrons. • Servers will maintain minimal contact with diners. We will not touch drinkware once in use or reach between diners to place food and beverages. • Tables limited to a max of 6 guests with the requirement of one name and phone number per table in the event contact tracing is required.

Lastly, and most importantly: We ask you to please help us to not have to pin Gord’s arms to his body and do not let him hug you……..Seriously ;)

We're returning from our brief closure with fresh summer menu offerings! During the downtime, our culinary team has taken the chance to add numerous new dishes that will be sure to tempt you. In addition to the new dishes, you'll be sure to find your favourite Genoa Bay Cafe classics.

Hike Stoney Hill Regional Park Located near Sansum Narrows across from Saltspring Island. The park has spectacular views of Saltspring Island and the surrounding area with a scenic, approximately 3.2 km looped trail starting and ending at the parking lot. More Details

Visit Mt. Tzouhalem The hike to the cross on Mount Tzouhalem provides and incredible view of the Cowichan Valley, spanning from Cowichan Bay to west, across the valley to the town of Duncan. The route offers a great workout and is an enjoyable, uphill hike through the forest before being rewarded with one of the best views from the area. More Details
