Pam Hungenberg is the founder and present Director of the Community Outreach Center. After directing the organization for 43 years, she has a few stories to tell.
The COC couldn't stay open without our volunteers. Did you know that everyone who works at the COC is a volunteer? Did you know that during second quarter volunteers gave 2,398 hours to run the COC? Thanks to all who give their time and energy to the service of our neighbors.
The Bible gives us directions to obey God's law, tells stories about our faithful God, and gives examples of people who lived righteous lives. There are dozens of instances where the Bible gives us directions for how to respond to the poor and needs, the widows and orphans, the sojourner and foreigner. The Bible tells us how to llive justly and love mercy.
