FRANCIS HOWELL SCHOOL DISTRICT

February 28, 2026

FHSD Parents and Guardians:

The return of warmer temperatures this week reminds us that summer is just around the corner. We wanted to let you know about the various summer programs offered by the Francis Howell School District for students.

SUMMER SCHOOL (also referred to as Summer Success Programs)

Francis Howell offers three Summer school programs that are designed to help students who need additional support and reading, math, credit advancement/credit recovery. Session dates vary. If your child is identified as one who could benefit from summer school, you will receive an additional communication from the District. Space is limited, so if your child is invited to participate, we encourage you to register at the link provided as soon as possible. There is no cost to attend, and the District will provide transportation.

Please be advised that Registration is now open for all three levels

  • Elementary & Middle School (Invitation Only): Those who were invited should have received an invitation through EduClimber this past week.
  • High School: Summer school is available for both credit recovery and credit advancement. Please reach out to your child’s school counselor or check our website for registration information.

All registrations must be completed by March 31st to allow us to properly plan and staff our summer programs.
