AUGUST AT THE LIBRARY
As the summer comes to a close and families with kids prep for back to school, we are here to remind you that the library has lots to do in August!

Our August events for adults include Libros y Café Spanish speakers book group, Live & Aloud with Guitarist & Composer Rick Vandivier, and the weekly NOVAWorks Careers Office Hours.

For teens, we have a University of California application planning session on August 17. Teen artists (or budding artists) can join our Summer Sunset Painting session in the Makerspace.

The Makerspace is the place to create and collaborate. Stop by the Downtown Library display cases to see some of the creations that have been made since our opening in March. Whether you want to explore sewing, crafts for kids or adults, 3D printing, chemistry or more, we have something for everyone. And don't miss our first Intro to Lasercutting session on August 20. Find our Makerspace calendar here.

Storytimes happen every day at all three locations and will continue until our break beginning August 15. We have storytimes for babies, toddlers, all ages, Spanish speakers, and more!
