Our partnership with the Child Development Center continues to grow as we share a mission to families in our community. We are working together to transform the 2nd floor of our 1954 building. Our Favorite Friday Night is THIS Friday
Acoustic Cafe' starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. This month's Acoustic Cafe’ will feature singer, musician, Steve Kline and traditional folk and country performer, Frank Stock. A fun night with great music!
Parents Night Out is from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in Room 317. Cost is $10 per child (max $30 per family), sign up by contacting Jeanine .

Heroin(e) the Film showing THIS Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
As America’s opioid crisis threatens to tear communities apart, the Netflix Original Short Documentary Heroin(e) shows how the chain of compassion holds one town together. Culpeper Overdose Awareness is partnering with us to host a screening of the film Heroin(e), followed by a panel discussion of the opioid challenges facing Culpeper. Click here to find out more.
Being Mortal Documentary Showing, Tuesday, May 22 at 5:30 p.m. in Worship Center
Capital Caring is partnering with us to sponsor a free screening and discussion of the PBS FRONTLINE documentary, Being Mortal. Based on the bestselling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, this film explores the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the doctors, nurses and family members who care for them. Senior Adult & CDC Fun Day! Tuesday, May 22
We need some Seniors to help celebrate with the CDC on May 22nd from 9:00 a.m.- noon. We are looking for 16 Seniors to help keep the games moving along as the children, parents and teachers celebrate their annual fun day. Join us for the picnic afterword also. Please let Hans know if you are willing to help out.
Recent surveys have shown that teens in our area are looking for a caring adult and tools to deal with and communicate the stressors of life. Amanda Findley and Sara Bywaters-Baldwin will be offering a 6-week series with a workbook, journal and supportive peer environment on Tuesdays at 6 p.m, May 29-July 6. $75 for series, scholarships available through CBC. Senior Adult Trip to Lancaster, September 17-19
We will enjoy Sight & Sound's production of Jesus as well as some great eating, touring and shopping while we are there. We will meet at The Culpeper at 11:00 a.m. on June 5th to discuss the trip and begin taking deposits.  Contact Hans for more info.
Summer Youth Ministry
First Fridays We are partnering with City on a Hill & Maranatha's Youth Ministry to have a fun first Friday each month this summer. The first one is June 1 - starting at 6:30 p.m. in Room 317. Come join us!
