Welcome Summer!
The sun is shining, the flowers and trees are in full bloom , and the gardens are growing. I have been able to keep the few marigolds I have alive, which is no small feat, and have been enjoying the longer days.
Summer at NHTI is busy as we wrap-up Spring semester and start getting ready for Fall classes. This summer seems a bit surreal as we transition back to "normal". Although this past year was hard and full of challenges, NHTI put students first and we made it through.
We were successful because community members, businesses, alumni, faculty, staff, and students all came together to support each other. This success is obvious watching the graduation and awards videos (see below). Thank you all for your support.
I want to say a special thank you and best wishes to some amazing faculty who spent years dedicated to NHTI and our students success. Enjoy retirement and the sunshine.

Alumni Spotlight -
Kendra Kuba, Dental Hygiene (2015)
|
Kendra is a certified public health dental hygienist serving over two dozen schools in southern N.H. and a previous board member of NHTI’s Dental Advisory Committee Board.
According to Kendra, "I graduated from Merrimack High School in 2006 and was completely unsure of what I wanted to do when I grew up. For the next five years I worked in retail, as a manager of a dry cleaner, and, most prominently, waitress and bartender. It wasn’t until I was 23 that I decided to be a dental hygienist. My journey to NHTI began!"

Who Wants to be a Star?
NHTI is going to be making a commercial on campus and we are looking for some local talent to volunteer to be part of this exciting day. You do not need to have any acting experience, just lots of enthusiasm and a smile.
We are seeking about 15 volunteers that look like they are between the ages of 18-22 years old.
Filming takes place on Friday, June 25th (rain day Saturday, June 26th) from 10am-2pm. There is no paid compensation for your volunteering but we will provide lunch and a thank you NHTI t-shirt for your time.
If you are interested, you can find more information and sign-up to participate here. What a great way to help support NHTI and have your 5 seconds of fame at the same time.
