silent ART Auction Heating Up
silent ART Auction is Open Through September 15
Own a piece of original art while supporting our region’s artists and youth! Bid now for paintings, sculptures, carvings, fabric art, jewelry and other original works created by local artists. Proceeds provide over 14,000 children an opportunity to engage with BCM’s educational programs. The 2018  silent ART auction continues through the live  fresh ART auction and party on Sunday, September 16.
silent Art Reception
Saturday, September 1, 5-7 p.m.
Meet the artists who are partnering with BCM to support our region’s youth on Saturday, September 1, from 5 - 7 p.m. Enjoy light refreshments, a cash bar and the opportunity to be some of the first bidders on over thirty pieces of art, then stay for the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra performance at the Devou bandshell beginning at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the reception is free to the public. The silent ART auction continues through the 26th annual fresh ART party at BCM on September 16.
Tot Tuesdays!:  Alphabet Soup
Tuesday, August 21, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Learn all about the letters that make up the alphabet and even craft your own bowl of alphabet soup! Tot Tuesdays!, designed to help prepare preschoolers for reading readiness and socialization, are held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday of every month. Admission is free for BCM members. For future members, cost is $9+tax for adults, $8+tax for seniors 60+ and $5+tax for children. There is a $1 craft fee per child. Free parking. Reserve spots for you and your child at (859) 491-4003.
Chippie's Sensational Science Lab:
On Tour at Fr. Hanses Park
Wednesday, August 22 at 11 a.m.-Noon
Behringer-Crawford Museum takes its science lab on the road to Covington’s Fr. Hanses Park for a pop-up session of summer fun inspired by BCM’s cheeky chipmunk mascot. Admission is free in cooperation with Covington Parks & Rec. For children in grades K-7. Location: Corner of 11th Street and Hermes, Covington, KY 41011.
