The summer months are approaching quickly. Here at The INN, once school lets out, our demand for food increases due to all the children who are no longer receiving free breakfasts and lunches. Director of Development Dorian Stern's organic garden

Do you have a green thumb? This year, consider planting a row of fresh produce for guests at the soup kitchen. Our Director of Development, Dorian Stern, already has! All of the surplus from her organic plot in the Brookwood Hall community garden, in the Town of Islip, will be donated to the Mary Brennan INN. Guests will enjoy lettuce, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, peppers, peas and other vegetables that are not always available and affordable to those in need. Dorian's philosophy is simple.
