The Parent Connection Newsletter
Dearest Parents, Families, and Caregivers...
Summers are meant to be fun. It's fun to think back and remember your childhood summers. Running in the sprinklers, swimming, and a personal favorite --enjoying popsicles while sitting on the sidewalk. But did you know, the summer learning loss is a real problem for young children. This phenomenon is often referred to as the "summer slide".

Over the next few weeks, we will continue to share little bit-sized learning activities that you can use daily and weekly to do with your children. We are adapting to meet your needs. You can find these activities by reading our emails and following us on social media -- below you will find our learning activity this week on the Letter "O".

We'd like to hear from you. Drop us a quick line and let us know what you think or what we can do to assist more. Email: questions@elcpalmbeach.org

We are also available via phone at our Family Resource Line: 561.514.3300 or via e-mail: at Contacts@elcpalmbeach.org .

Thank you and stay safe,
