Stepping Stones Farm & Retreat Center

Where Heritage Meets Harmony and Moments Matter

19 Putnam Road, Temple, New Hampshire 03084

Greetings to One and All!

The entire Stepping Stones Farm Team sends you our warmest wishes! We love welcoming guests from all over the world to share our land, sweet animals, pool, lawn games, and new walking trails. The legacy of hospitality is alive and well here — all are welcome!

SUMMER & FALL FARM STAYS & RETREATS

Business is booming! Guests tell us they can’t wait to return to a relaxing, peaceful place where families and friends can celebrate, play together, dine outside at twilight, and gather around the Fire Circle. During turbulent times, people are craving the comfort of ‘the good old days’ — with Wi-Fi, of course!

We are also returning to our roots — back to 1975, when the farm was Sign of the Dove Retreat Center. Spiritual, youth, family, corporate and wellness retreat groups are flocking to our gates, and it is a joy to hear how transformative their time here has been.

Visit www.steppingstonesfarm.com to see who is hosting retreats with us. We are proud of the professionals partnering with us.

THE 1st HORSES & HEALING SYMPOSIUM WAS A GRAND SUCCESS

Our first-ever Horses & Healing Symposium for Equine Assisted Services was truly remarkable. With participants and presenters from Australia, England, Canada, and across the US, a community of caring, credentialed professionals gathered to share research, exhibits, great meals, and deep inspiration. It was one of the most moving three days of my professional life — and we cannot wait for next year!

The 2nd Annual Horses & Healing Symposium will be held on May 21 st to the 23 rd 2027. We are once again going to limit the gathering so that it always retains the spirit of warmth, welcome, inclusion and connection. Mark your calendars

and join us.

NEW BOARDERS INVITED TO THE FARM

We welcome horse owners to board at Stepping Stones Farm under our new version of The Track System that provides excellent pasture, safe fencing, along with excellent care and use of our full riding and driving facilities — miles of dirt roads, four outdoor rings, and an large Indoor Arena. As a lifelong professional horsewoman, I personally oversee 24/7 care.

Our rates are very competitive. Get in touch soon because we only accept a limited number of boarders so that we have stalls for all horses, big and small, when the winter winds blow. This is a rare opportunity for you and your horse.

Come visit and check us out!

BARN GATHERINGS TO CELEBRATE

We are pleased to announce we have completed the upgrade to the 2nd floor of our historic ‘Bank Barn’, built in 1802. As a ‘bank barn’ set into a hillside, all three stories are accessible at ground level. Guests can now gather here for Wisdom Horse sessions, therapy, and celebrations of all kinds — from retreat groups and Paint & Sip nights to birthday parties, business planning, and end-of-life celebrations. The space invites personalization, and a food station, coffee bar, refrigerator, and tables and chairs make setup a breeze. Let the barn’s long

history of community gatherings add something special to your event!

ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS
& COME CELEBRATE IN OUR SPACE!

For the first time, we will be offering space in both The Lodge and Homestead for Holiday Parties for offices, families, and friend groups. We’ll handle the decorations and ambiance. We will provide you with the venue, tables, chairs, service ware and free parking.

Set up as fancy or as simple as you want. We have a list of great caterers and bartenders to recommend or bring your own. A full kitchen also let’s you warm up the food yourself. Plan what you wish, enjoy the set up and festive décor — then simply relax and enjoy your guests. Best of all, your group has the entire first floor of the Lodge or the Homestead to yourselves. No shouting over a crowded restaurant or the high prices of a country club.

Book soon to reserve your date.

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!

With a big smile and joy in my heart, I hope something in this newsletter calls to you — and that we’ll see you arrive at our farm gate soon! We have ‘kept the lights on’ for you for 54 years!

Best to you and safe travels, Boo
