SUMMER READING TAKES OFF!!
MOFFAT LIBRARY
2018 SUMMER READING PROGRAM

SUMMER READING BEGINS WITH FUN!
It's our first summer in our new library! To celebrate, we held an ice-cream social to kick-off this year's Summer Reading Program! Ice cream was provided by Stewart's and our fine teen volunteers manned the ice cream table and the computers to get everybody registered for the program, so that they can log their reading!

This past Wednesday, the Frisbee family graced us with a special magic show for children. Samantha Frisbee freed herself from a Houdini-like straight jacket and later both the sisters pulled their pet rabbit from a seemingly empty box! And there's lots more fun programs to come!

Over 450 readers have registered for the Summer Reading Program from babies all the way up to adults! And so far 375 books have been read by pre-schoolers and over 14,000 minutes have been spent reading by school-age kids and teens! Keep up the good work!

There's still time to register!
Stop by the Library or go to our website at www.moffatlibrary.org
