Greetings everyone!
With vaccines on the uptick, more and more teammates meeting in the office and Summer Fridays in full swing, it’s feeling like life is finally back on track. But while our social behaviors may be inching back towards the norm, we know that business will never be the same as it was before the pandemic—presenting us and our clients a major opportunity to innovate, adapt and excel before the competition has time to catch up.
As we plan for a post-COVID-19 world, we’re enhancing our offerings to help clients succeed no matter the business environment. With the news continuing to evolve in response to journalists’ changing priorities, we’re monitoring the media landscape closely to ensure our clients are best positioned to tell their stories and steer industry conversations. Our latest report, Health Tech Media in a Post-COVID-19 World, details how journalists are exploring the digitization of the healthcare industry in particular—and how brands can stand out amidst crowded and sometimes chaotic conversations.
Additionally, as V2’s client roster grows, we’re adding more and more big thinkers and bold movers to our leadership team to guide these brands towards success. This past quarter, V2 welcomed Emily Lospennato as our newest Vice President and Kara Doran as Director of Social Media. With their expertise, the V2 team is poised to take on the hottest communications trends in stride. Because if there’s one thing we know about working in PR, it’s that business never stays the same for long—and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Cheers,
Maura and Jean

V2 employs the best and brightest minds in the industry—and that starts at the top. We’re elated to announce that founders Maura FitzGerald and Jean Serra have been named to Ragan and PR Daily’s list of Top Women in Communications. The award program honors an elite list of women who are advancing the communications industry, inspiring their coworkers and peers and mentoring future generations of communications leaders. It only makes sense, then, that Maura and Jean were named a Trailblazer and a Visionary, respectively.
That tenacity continues throughout the agency. Not only do we keep up with the hottest, most-impactful communication trends—we’re leading them. In recognition of our work, V2 won Gold for Best PR Podcast and Bronze for Best Use of Influencers in this year’s Bulldog PR Awards.
That’s not all; our teams also recently brought home six Bell Ringers for our poignant campaigns in categories ranging from Brand Building to Response to Breaking News. Follow us on Twitter to see all the wins.
