There are several spots left in the AFTERNOON Free Motion Quilting class which was just added to the calendar. This class will introduce you to the basics of free motion quilting on your domestic sewing machine. It is a two part class which allows you to be introduced to the basics in the first class, have some time to practise at home, then return to class for troubleshooting, and next steps in your free motion quilting journey.

Pictured here is Leianne's Evening Candle Light quilt .. in progress. This lap size version is hanging in our classroom now while she makes more blocks to enlarge it to queen size! This is a brand new pattern by Tina Dillard of Quilting Affection Designs and is written specifically for use with the Wedge Star Ruler by Studio 180 Designs. And it only requires the use of that one Studio 180 ruler! The design is created by colour placement within each block!

You are invited to join Leianne's Star Gazers Class who have chosen this spectacular quilt as their project for this fall.
