Antique items for sale include china, glassware, furniture, quilts, fine and costume jewelry, ladies’ accessories, kitchen supplies, sports memorabilia, books, postcards, area souvenirs, linens, vintage clothing, dolls, sterling and more. Admission to the grounds for the Antique Show is $8 per person, which includes an Auto Pass, valid for four hours.
Saturday, Aug. 24
The OSU Alumni Band is the largest all-brass band in the U.S. It’s comprised of OSU graduates ranging in age from their early 20s to their late 80s. Fan favorites, such as “Buckeye Battlecry” and “Hang on Sloopy,” will be played, along with jazz, marches, contemporary music and big band hits.
Sunday, Aug. 25-Friday, Aug. 30
From Sunday, Aug. 25-Friday, Aug. 30, take advantage of our reduced rate admission . Enter Lakeside for only $16/adult and $10/youth (ages 13-24) per day. As always, children age 12 & under and guests over the age of 90 are always free.
Sunday, Aug. 25
The Rev. H. Daniel Drew will serve as Lakeside’s guest preacher at the 10:30 a.m. Hoover Community Worship Service. His sermon, "Invitation to a Relationship," is based on Matthew 4:18-25.
This week's lecture series themes are Lakeside University and Foreign Film Festival.

Join jazz artist and entertainer Michael Shirtz in an intimate evening of songs from the Great American Songbook with pianist/collaborator Danny Bauer and actress Pamela Shirtz.

The Recycle Sale will take place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30-Sunday, Sept. 1 and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2 in South Auditorium. Items for the sale include housewares, linens, furniture and lawn equipment.

Looking Ahead
Saturday, Oct. 12
This free, peninsula-wide event includes a variety of activities for the family: tours of the Marblehead Lighthouse, live entertainment, children's games and crafts, a pumpkin-decorating contest, arts & crafts vendors, a farmers' market, hayrides and much more in Lakeside and the Village of Marblehead. We've also added a Clambake Dinner following the day's festivities.
Saturday, Dec. 7
For the third year, Lakeside is expanding its annual Community Christmas Dinner into an all-day event filled with children’s activities, family-friendly entertainment and much more! Holiday movies will also be featured. Festivities will be held in conjunction with the Marblehead Merchants’ “Village Lights,” an event that highlights local shops and restaurants on the peninsula.
