New President at MiraCosta College Nuevo presidente en MiraCosta College

The Board of Trustees is excited to announce that Dr. Lennor M. Johnson has accepted the offer to become the next Superintendent/President of MiraCosta College. 

Following a comprehensive national search, the Board selected Dr. Johnson to succeed Dr. Sunny Cooke and lead MiraCosta College forward. His first official day at the college will be August 3.

La Junta Directiva se complace en anunciar que el Dr. Lennor M. Johnson ha aceptado la oferta para convertirse en el próximo Superintendente y Presidente de MiraCosta College.

TrueCare and YMCA Partner to Bring Community as Medicine to Oceanside TrueCare y YMCA traen programa de salud comunitaria a Oceanside

TrueCare is expanding its commitment to whole-person care through Community as Medicine®, an evidence-based wellness program designed by Open Source Wellness and made available locally through a partnership with the Joe and Mary Mottino Family YMCA in Oceanside.

Community as Medicine is a group-based coaching model developed by Open Source Wellness in collaboration with community and health care partners nationwide to help participants build sustainable habits related to physical activity, nutrition, stress management and community connection. Open Source Wellness helped unite TrueCare and the YMCA of San Diego County around a shared goal: connecting patients with the coaching, support and community resources needed to improve long-term health and well-being.

TrueCare patients interested in joining the program are encouraged to speak with their provider about referral opportunities.

This opportunity may be for you!

This advisory group advances regional climate priorities and community-driven solutions for local governments. The workgroup is led by the County's Office of Sustainability and Environmental Justice. In addition to being a part of an inspired group of changemakers, members receive $150 per meeting for their time and for sharing their perspectives.
