I was privileged to attend a memorial tennis tournament honoring the life of Murhl Searcy, who passed away at the age of 55 years and had been a teaching pro for over 30 years. A fabulous tribute with all proceeds benefiting Raise a Racquet .

Paducah Tennis Association and the Charity League are hosting a Charity Tennis Tournament on September 16-17 at the Larry Heflin Tennis Center. Play or sponsor this fun doubles format fundraiser while raising money for Easter Seals West Kentucky and Play Tennis Paducah!

Tennis training was offered to school and community volunteers to run new beginner tennis programs throughout the area, to better serve Hispanic  families.

USTA Southern has opened registration for grant applications for the Build It Forward initiative. $500K has been made available to build or reconstruct tennis courts. There is no deadline, as funds will be available until exhausted.
