Did you know that your Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) can apply for funding for a traffic safety collaborative project through Crossroads?
All six of Wisconsin’s CTSOs (DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA, and Skills USA) can apply and receive funding for projects that are accepted.
The goal of the CTSO Collaborative Project is to improve teen traffic safety in Wisconsin through student-directed projects that focus on at least one of these risk areas:
- Distracted Driving
- Impaired Driving
- Nighttime Driving
- Peer Passengers
- Seat Belt Use
The project may also focus on Wisconsin's Graduated Driver License (GDL) law. Past CTSO Collaborative Project teams competed at state CTSO conferences and qualified for the national conferences for their organizations with their projects. Our teams have also shared their projects at traffic safety and injury prevention conferences.
