The coming weeks are loaded with great events in West County, from celebrating fashion for a worthy cause and playing soulful softball to build community, to learning new skills to help you and others maintain neighborhood safety.

Back to School Carnival
at 25th and Barrett Avenue. Starts at 5 p.m. on 8/21 and runs all weekend.
Soulful Softball Sunday
, a weekly gathering at Nichol Park in Richmond to build togetherness through food, prayer, sports and donations. 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Music on the Main
concert series in downtown Richmond, thanks to Richmond Main Street Initiative. 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
