Welcome VENDORS to the 2022 Santiam SummerFest,

Each year I field a number of calls regarding parking, when & where to check-in, booth assignments, set-up and tear down. We want the event to run smoothly for everyone involved, from event staff to volunteers to vendors, so PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL completely and review your Vendor Contract, to help avoid unnecessary phone calls, miscommunication or confusion on the date of the event.

I have been the event producer since 2016 and I can not stress enough how important it is for vendors to be informed. That said, if you have multiple people working your booth, please forward this information to them. And if you have any questions after re-reading your contract and the guidelines below, please give me a call at your earliest convenience.

PLEASE READ: VENDOR GUIDELINES
1) First things first, THANK YOU! We couldn't do this event without all the vendors, local businesses and organizations that sign up and help make the event a success. This year we have over just shy of 100 vendors, many of whom are brand new to our event!

2) CHECK-IN: Please read your Vendor Rules (click button below), so you know WHERE & WHEN to check in. ALL vendors MUST check in at the Registration Booth before setting up their booth space.
3) COURTESY: I know that you are anxious to get your booth assignments and get set up for a great day of promoting what your business... In doing so, please follow ALL vendor rules for check-in, set up, tear down, etc... Do not attempt to come in on the side streets, you WILL be asked to turn around.

PLEASE BE KIND to our Event Staff. They are VOLUNTEERS who help make this event run smoothly. If you have a question or concern... please ask to speak directly with me. I value both my vendors and volunteers and want to be the one to handle any issues if they should arise.

4) ENGAGE: To make sure you get the most out of your vendor experience, we encourage your to actively engage with festival goers. Be friendly and approachable, and creative with interactive activities at your booth.
Just a reminder that standard vendors may not sell or give away any food or beverages (except water) at their booths in order to allow food vendors to maximize the return on their investment, and may only sell from their booth space.

5) COME PARTY: After street fair break-down & packing up, street fair vendors are invited to join us in the Entertainment Tent (at the corner of Florence & 3rd St) for family-friendly food, drinks, and live music until 7PM. It's our way of saying thank-you and giving our vendors an opportunity to relax after a hard days work and connect with other local businesses and the community.
