2020 Applications for High School Students in Tompkins County Are Now Live!
The Summers of Service Program provides paid summer internships of $1,600. Students are placed at local human service agencies where they will support an array of programs and services that create opportunities for success for county residents. Throughout the summer students will develop skills in the areas of customer service, planning and decision making, professionalism as they discover more about themselves, their dreams for the future, and civic engagement.
Supporting Future Leaders Aids
COVID-19 Recovery Efforts
The current pandemic has made planning for the summer difficult. However, UWTC is committed to providing support to agencies along with work and leadership development opportunities for high school juniors and seniors by launching the 2020 STEPHEN E. GARNER SUMMERS OF SERVICE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. Even if it looks a little different this year, the impact will continue to build community and strengthen lives.
Supporting the development of our up-and-coming leaders will be an essential part of community recovery and rebuilding.
