... If your dog wants something, do all manners and common sense go out the window? Do they want it NOW regardless of the consequences?!?!! Patient, calm and polite behaviors are more effective than jumping, pushing, pawing or barking. These behaviors are learned and, just like teaching our human children, should be at the top of our training priority list.

Heelin' Hounds: Leash Walking | Cost: $150
PERFECT FOR SUMMERTIME!
Tired of getting pulled around or tangled in the leash? Wish you could go for a nice run or walk together? This popular course is designed to help you and your dog master the art of leash walking.

S.T.A.R. Puppy | Cost: $200
The first step in the AKC's Canine Good Citizenship program and is where we first take basic obedience and manners behaviors and reinforce and improve these in a setting with other dogs and people, i.e., distractions. These 6 week classes are open to pups aged 5 to 12 months at time of graduation.

Companion Dog 102: Advanced Community Canine | Cost: $250
For those wanting to improve their dog's obedience beyond mere basics, our Award-winning Intermediate Obedience Class focuses on distractions, long down and sit stays, come and focused heeling. Taught partially off leash. The class is the next step for those engaged in therapy dog work and is the advanced level of the AKC's Canine Good Citizen Program culminating with the AKC Community Canine (CGCA) Test and Certification.
