I hope you are enjoying the beautiful summer weather we have been having. As I write this, in the back of my mind, I'm thinking about what salad I should make for the next BBQ! Despite the heat, there are many of you that are finding time to come indoors to cool off and work on quilting projects! For myself, I tend to work on small projects that I can hand sew in the evenings. This feeds my 'need to create' soul.
As we head into August, just after the spring and summer quilt shows, we have already started to switch gears in the store. The deliveries of new fabric lines and patterns for the upcoming season have begun ( I don't dare to say it out loud but you know what season I'm talking about) and we hope that you will find a great collection of new fabric favourites for all your quilting projects.
Below you will see photos of the most recent fabric arrivals.
Next week all the teachers will be getting together to plan the fall class/workshop schedule. I already have a list of the classes and I'm quite excited about it :-) As soon as the dates are established we are planning to have an Open House to reveal the project samples and to start class registration. And of course have door prizes, food, and perhaps a sale (yahoo!!). I'm still working on that! Stay tuned.
As always, we like to hear your feedback. If there is something that we don't carry at the store (notions, fabric lines, etc) and there are enough requests to do so, we will do our best to bring it in for you. Please just let us know.
Enjoy the rest of your summer,
