While fireworks and sparklers are a fun and integral part of celebrating our nation's independence, they are full of harmful chemicals detrimental to your lawn.
So, in lieu of throwing used sparklers or fireworks directly on the ground after they are done, fill up a bucket of water and put the remains inside. This will also ensure that all fire has been doused, preventing the possible spread of fire.
Luckily, we have had plenty of rain this year, but this is a good practice for when we are in a drought.
We hope that you have a happy and safe 4th of July!
