Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit

Special Announcement

The 2024 Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit will feature two keynote speakers as Pierre Cléroux, Vice President, Research and Chief Economist from BDC will be returning for this year’s event. Back by popular demand, he is a seasoned speaker that helps business owners understand the risks and opportunities presented by the economic environment. At BDC, he leads a team of experts who analyze economic data to identify business and sector trends impacting Canadian entrepreneurs.


Mr. Cléroux is also responsible for providing economic analysis and advice to the Bank’s senior management team and supervises all marketing and industry research activities. Over his 25-year career as an economist, he has held several influential positions that had a direct impact on entrepreneurs in Canada and abroad.


Mr. Cléroux will be joining a full day of speakers including the Honourable Stephen Lecce, Ontario’s Minister of Energy and Electrification who will also be doing a keynote address. Full agenda to be released next week.

The Summit is hosted by the Leeds Grenville Economic Development Office, in partnership with Michael Barrett M.P., Steve Clark, M.P.P., the 1000 Islands, Grenville and Valley Heartland Community Futures Development Corporations and the Eastern Workforce Innovation Board.

Date: Friday, November 22, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.


Location: North Grenville Municipal Centre (click for map)

285 County Road 44, Kemptville, Ontario.


Registration: $55 (including HST) - includes light breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Advance registration is required. Deadline to register is Friday, November 15, 2024.
