The Gifted and 2e Project: We Want to Hear from You!
A doctoral student in clinical psychology at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, is conducting a study on Gifted and Twice Exceptional (2E) children -- those who are "exceptional" because they are cognitively gifted and who also struggle with disabilities, learning differences, or medical conditions.

Parents or guardians of cognitively gifted children between the ages of 5-11 who attend (or attended in the past) public school, are invited to participate. See the link for the specific criteria.

The survey will take about 15 minutes. Participation is anonymous, confidential, and voluntary.

" Swimming is such a great microcosm of life. It's one of the few things that we have in our culture that we have to overcome... The water is such a beautiful way for children to become empowered, and to know: "I can save myself. I can do this. I am strong, and I am brave."
