10th Annual iCan! Bike Camp Recap!
Our 10th annual iCan! Bike Camp has been proving to be a successful and exciting experience! Over 70 volunteers are working together to change the lives of 40 riders.

Today, we commemorate our rider's graduation and celebrate their journey towards independence!

Over these five days, hesitant participants transformed into confident riders, parents discovered a renewed hope in what their son or daughter can achieve, and volunteers gained a greater understanding of their peers. It has been a WIN-WIN-WIN experience!

This event takes so many committed individuals and organizations - iCan! Bike Camp would not be possible without each and every one of them!

As we celebrate our iCan! Bike Camp graduates, we would like to thank the many sponsors, partners, volunteers, and friends that helped make this camp a success!

THANK YOU
to the amazing staff from iCan Shine for caring about each of our riders.

THANK YOU
to the families and riders for letting us be a part of your journey.

THANK YOU
to our volunteers -- without you bike camp wouldn't be possible!!

A huge thanks to Camille Gardiner and her entire family for making this event possible.

Thank you for believing in our riders and for being a part of our effort to change lives and change expectations!

The tournament will include a small high-end auction and we'd love for YOU to help us procure items! This is a great way to fulfill active member status while also supporting our iCan! Work program. We've started a wish list but we are open to your suggestions as well. The sponsorship brochure and auction wish list can be found on our website.

Oral Motor Evaluations -
Open for registration!
Evaluations will be the week of August 4-August 8
What is Oral Placement Therapy?

Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) uses a hierarchical-based approach to improve speech clarity and feeding skills in individuals of all ages and across diagnoses. These innovative techniques focus on motor movement activities used to improve phonation, resonation, and speech clarity. Combined with a tactile-sensory approach, OPT provides a comprehensive solution to a variety of speech and feeding issues. OPT involves the use of therapy tools to train and transition muscle movements for speech production. These techniques, applied in combination with the tools, make the difference in client’s lives.

The FOUNDATION offers traveling clinics to provide oral placement evaluations and program development. This program is highly beneficial, however, the evaluation is a one-time visit that provides an outline for an ongoing program that must be implemented by a parent or speech therapist on a daily or weekly basis.

Click here to learn more about Oral Placement Therapy

Parents are required to view the second video on the page - "Parents' Guide to Talk Tools" to be eligible for an Oral Motor Therapy Scholarship.
