RACE PACK/REGISTRATION [

Registration will take place on-site before the start. You will pick up your wrist band (with a unique 'bib' number). Redback Coffee will be serving beverages during this time.

Start Location:
Near to Nam Shan public toilets, Lantau.
Travel:
Via ferry
from Central (Pier 6/Central): 06.50 slow, 07.10 fast or 07.40 fast ferry and then the connecting Number 1, 2, 3M or 4 bus (which depends on which ferry you get) to Nam Shan (last stop going uphill). Or take a taxi, or walk up the S. Lantau Road (about 2km and 25-30 minute walk).
Via MTR
and bus from Tung Chung: take the Number 3M bus at 07.35, 07.50, 08.15 or 08.35. Journey time is about 25-30 minutes. Alight at Nam Shan (the bus stop at the crest of the hill right adjacent to the start/finish).
Water/Hydration:
It is very important that you hydrate well the day prior to the event and also on the morning of the event. There is no water distribution at the start line. You should bring a minimum 1.5 - 2 litres of water in a reusable container plus your own reusable cup (we will not have any cups). Please don’t use one-time plastic bottles of water.
Safety - Heat Stroke and Heat Exhaustion:
Safety of our runners is our top priority and concern. Heat exhaustion and heat stroke are very serious, so please take it easy on the trail. Make sure you hike/run well within your abilities and experience. Remember, this event is a relaxed training activity. You should not participate if you have any health reasons that may impede your ability to take part safely. Be honest with yourself and recognise if you start to overheat or feel unwell. If you are not feeling well in any way, you should stop in a shady area, seek support from passing participants and contact our first aid team Please save the following first-aid numbers; Joey: 9638 6898, Hann: 6139 8179 or Tim: 6199 5595. SunTrekker is supported by a professional first-aid roaming team.
Wrist Bands - Recording of Participant Numbers:
Participants will be given two wrist bands with your unique event number. You must wear one band at all times and you can attach the other band to your drop bag. Please help by showing this number to our crew as you pass the Check Point - your number will be recorded for your safety. The top 20 times will be published. All other times will be for each runner’s personal record. The wrist band attached to your drop bag will be used as your lucky draw ticket for prizes at the finish line.

Back Pack and Prizes:
Your 20 litre SunTrekker day hike backpack will be available after you have finished the event. We have approximately 2 dozen prizes including magnums of MOA Beer as well as T8 items and Joint Dynamics services. Each prize will be allocated randomly to category winners - to first 3 men, first 3 women and the remaining prizes in a lucky draw. A maximum one prize per participant.
T8 Discount:

F&B:
We will have Beyond Burgers and a selection of vegan salads from Hemingway’s restaurant. MOA will be serving craft beer - IPA, lager and cider. Redback Coffee will be serving iced coffee.
Waste:
We will be sending all plastic/aluminium for recycling and our food waste for composting. Please help by placing waste in the correct bins (and crush your cans first).
