'Anticipation of Winter Fun' - Photo by Charlotte Carlson | | Color filled autumn is gently slipping away , almost ready to yield to winter snow in New England. In between, there's "Stick Season". Under cloudy grey skies, the bone colored birches, crinkled-bark on sugar maples and a forest floor covered in tawny leaves, all bring thoughts of crackling fires, and cozy evenings at home, as our internal clocks adjust to early sunsets. The stark beauty of this brief, in-between season, heralds the holidays and family gatherings to come.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14th|7:00 - 9:00 PM | 9 Lower Main Street, Sunapee
Robyn’s musical journey began in the nineteen sixties during "the Great Folk Scare." Early influences included listening to the music of Dave Van Ronk and Mississippi John Hurt whose finger-picking seemed to be just this side of magical. Over all the years, her love of the fingerstyle blues has persisted and expanded.
After college and grad school, a decades long engineering career interrupted Robyn's musical pursuits but after a lapse of many years, she returned to music with enthusiasm. During the past ten years Robyn has performed at open mics in Sunapee, Andover and Warner, playing both covers and some original material. Robyn is therefore a newcomer to the stage, with tonight's debut performance being the fulfillment of a dream many years in the making. She aims to make it a good one.
