Let Go...& Deny the Power

Through patterns, and repetition, many of us might be stuck in old ways of thinking which hold power over us. Today, will you decide to see yourself as “only human”? Or will you be willing today, to summon the faith, and affirmatively express your divine identity? As divine beings in a human experience, we may not realize, nor recognize that we’re stuck in an old story that has power over us. When anyone is ready to deny the power of his old stories of lack and limitation, he makes a step in the right direction, and thereby lets go of the “terrible too’s.” Are you too old, too loud, too heavy, too ashamed, or too sick to believe that life can change? Based on old ideas of who we are in the world we fall short of our true nature, and instead we can audaciously declare that we have immense creative power, and that we are meant to follow a greater pattern of joy, love, peace, and wonder. Join us for another Lenten Season Sunday, and celebrate your in-born God power, as we let go and deny the appearances.

We have been informed that Su Choy’s beloved sister, Beth has moved on from her physical experience. Many of our community have been in prayer with Su and her family, and we’ve held Beth in prayers for healing. Great efforts were made for healing the body, and now we know that Beth is healed in Spirit and in Truth. Please, persist in a greater commitment to prayer to see Beth as healed and whole. There is no more struggle, and we lift Beth into greater and greater heights and we envision that she is now welcomed Home. All of our hearts are healed at depth, and together we are stronger together in love.

One of Jesus’ most famous quotes is “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” (Matt 10:8) Though these timeless words were directed to His disciples so long ago, they were meant for us today as well. In fact, it seems true that Jesus is saying that healing is our principal function. 

So what exactly are the conditions for healing, and how do we create them to bring forth healing in ourselves and others? During weekly Zoom meetings, LUT/ ministerial candidate Su Choy will guide you through a progressive series of lessons aimed at constructing a healing consciousness called The Diamond Mind. Each lesson will be carefully gleaned from the works of Unity’s greatest foremothers and forefathers, including Emma Curtis Hopkins, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, Mary Baker Eddy as well as Jesus Himself through the teachings of the bible and A Course in Miracles. Each shining facet of consciousness we explore will lift you to a new realization of healing. Gradually, as this Diamond Mind is birthed, you will witness beneficent changes in character, energy, and well-being - the undeniable effects of deep and enduring healing.
